Welcome to the Yorkshire and Humber Public Services Network Website (YHPSN), which now incorporates the Health and Social Care Network (HSCN) programme.

For the first time the YHPSN Regional Network offers a single, unified data communications network, ‘One Public Estate’, across all Local Public Services, supporting new ways of working more efficiently and cost effectively. It will support and encourage the development of multi-tenanted buildings and estates rationalisation, joint and integrated working, and the support of the citizen in their own homes.

With Health, Local Authorities, Blue Light services including the Police, and Transport all connected over the single infrastructure there are exciting opportunities to ‘Standardise, Simplify and Share’, developing new and standardised ways of working which will improve service delivery and drive out costs, delivering better value to the taxpayer.

The YHPSN has already driven out over £40 million of cost over the last 5 years, and is confident that further savings will be derived over the next 5 years.
On this site we’ll detail the services we’ve developed, the projects we are developing into services along with the progress we’ve made, and highlight the cost savings we’ve helped our partner members to realise. We are keen that the public also see the good work, and welcome any comments or enquires you may have about the YHPSN sent to the contact details published here.
